Dreamers. It was a year ago today that I was sitting in a Starbucks with my husband while my daughter was at softball practice.

We had our fingers crossed that once we clicked to publish episode one of

California Dreaming we would soon see it appear on iTunes.

When it finally did, I had this overwhelming feeling of accomplishment

because I can't tell you I can't even begin to describe to you

how little I knew about what it takes to create a podcast and I still don't know what I'm doing half the time. I make lots of mistakes. I have

disappointments. But what's come out of all of this has been so much more rewarding than any of the difficulties

I've encountered along the way.

I first need to thank my husband, David, for first believing in me when I woke up one day and told him I needed to start my own podcast.

He was like, let's do this.

He literally figured out everything that I needed to get the show up and running. He puts in all

the music, edits out all the foul language, and makes all the nitpicky little things

that I want done happen. I may be the one who drones on and on into the mic but he is the one that initially

made it all happen to begin with.

I also need to thank Nick of Orbital Diggsaw. He's the man with the vision and when he came to me and said he wanted us to be a part of his network I was very flattered that he saw some potential in the show. And ever since,

California dreaming has been slowly but surely growing. If it weren't for Nick,

I'd still be out there aimlessly floating around in the potosphere,

trying to figure out what the heck I'm doing.

So thank you, Nick, for believing in California Dreaming,

for everything you've done and everything you continue to do.
