I'm Kevin Flynn with Elizabeth Rome, and this is a bonus edition of These Are Their Stories.

0:30.0

Welcome to a bonus edition of These Are Their Stories. I was contacted recently by some folks

0:46.0

over at the podcast Killers Vault. The podcast stars two Hollywood types. One is actor Eric Roberts.

0:55.1

The other the host of the podcast is Miss Elizabeth Rome, who you will remember as Serena Sutherland

1:02.4

from the original recipe Lawn Order. Now they reached out because they wanted to promote

1:09.3

this new podcast that they have. It's a true crime podcast. So Elizabeth Rome did agree to come

1:15.1

on and we will talk about that, but of course there are so many things that we need to talk about

1:21.1

Serena Sutherland, but you know the one question I want to ask, and I did get to it. But let's listen

1:28.1

1:36.0

having me. She's got a new podcast coming out true crime. It's called Killers Vaults, and we will

1:42.0

talk about that. But I what do you think I want to talk to you about? These are their stories.

1:57.7

Were they saying, hey, we want to do something different? We're we want to do more of the same.

2:02.7

What was that like for you? Well, here's the deal. I had done a pilot with Dick Wolf when I first

2:08.8

started acting and it did not get picked up and I started opposite Kyle McLaughlin. I was so thrilled.

2:16.3

I thought I'd really made it. I mean, I've got about a hundred stories of like, I think I've

2:20.2

really made it. That was the first one. And then it began my long relationship with Dick and

2:27.3

getting to collaborate with him and work for him. When the role of the ADA and Lawn Order became

2:34.3

available, and we I auditioned for it, but I had very much pursued the opportunity to audition for

2:41.6

it. And Dick Wolf felt I looked a little too young and not as believable. And Angie Harman got it.
