from the Jack Benny program.

Both of the episodes will hear today come from the era when Benny was sponsored by Jello.

Jello began its affiliation with Benny in 1934, and it continued until 1942.

At that point, sales of the gelatin and pudding desserts were impacted by wartime

sugar rationing. You'll hear plenty about the rich taste of jello and

all of its fabulous flavors from announcer Don Wilson in both of these shows.

You'll also hear Benny's fellow cast members both of these shows.
