Summary

Brook grew up on a 13-acre game farm, in Lumpkin County, Georgia. Her father raised chickens there. For years, she lived a normal life there, playing hide and seek with friends, in the woods and having a good time. One night, though, when she was 7 or 8, she found out that she didn’t know the woods around the farm as well as she thought she did. Those woods held a secret and she was about to get an education. That was far from the only Bigfoot encounter Brook has had. Many more were to follow. We hope you’ll tune in and listen to her talk about them.

My Big Foot sightings happen in Lumpkin County, Georgia. My name is Brooke. I'm 28 years old.

0:59.0

And I've lived in Lumpkin County my entire life. I grew up on a 13-acre game farm, like chicken farm.

1:10.0

My earliest encounter, I guess, or what I heard sometimes my parents would talk about animals going missing or something happened when I was four or five.

1:21.0

I can remember when my dad had roosters on tie cords with barrels. And when any other animal would come in and get one of his chickens, you know, there would be feathers and stuff everywhere.

1:34.0

And there was multiple times when we moved on to this property that the rooster would just go missing the tie cord and all.

1:42.0

There was no feathers or anything like that left. There was no remnants left that they were doing a rooster there besides the barrel.

1:49.0

Then there was a few times we went camp out in front of my grandmother's house because my whole family lived on this 13 acres when they still do to this day.

1:58.0

But there was my uncle, my Nana, my other uncle, my aunt, and then us. There was five of us cousins and we used to camp out in front of my Nana's house.

2:07.0

And we just camp out and stuff, you know, when we were old enough to know things, you know, when we were really young.

2:14.0

But I think when I was about seven or eight, it was during the sometime we camped out there in her front yard and it was all five of us girls.

2:22.0

And we've done this a few times before and nothing ever scared us and we'd stay out there all night.

2:27.0

But this one particular night, we thought that our dads were sneaking up on us. We could hear someone walking around the tent coming up because our road was gravel.

2:38.0

We were all a year apart, all five of us. And so my cousin was 10, she was the oldest and then we were all like right there behind her.

2:48.0

And we heard someone walking up the gravel road. And so, you know, our giggling stopped and we got real quiet. And my cousin said, listen, I think our dads are trying to scare us.

2:59.0

And so we're saying that we got real quiet, but it was really hard for us to say quiet, you know, we thought everything was funny. We're all laughing and stuff.

3:07.0

And she's like, listen, they're getting closer. So it, whatever it was, it wasn't one of our parents that walked right up to the tent.

3:17.0

And when it scared us so bad, like we just took out, like walk up to the back of the tent.

3:22.0

And like we never seen a shadow or anything, but we could just hear it. And we heard something rustle against the back of the tent.

3:28.0

And when we heard that, like we all, like beeline to out of that tent, because we were literally like a foot from the front porch.

3:35.0

We weren't far at all from the front porch. And we took off running into the house. And we weren't even told men that our dads were trying to scare us.
