The author of the book that we have just talked about in our last episode, Ringmaster. So

Abraham Josephine Reisman is a journalist and the New York Times bestselling author of Ringmaster,

Vince McMahon and The Unmaking of America. She has written for The Washington Post, the Wall Street

Journal and New York Magazine, among many other outlets. And she goes by Josie. Josie, thank you so much for being

with us today. It's so nice to be here. And thank you for being patient for the listeners.

I canceled or rescheduled a previous date when we were going to record this because I got

walloped with a cold. So thank you for not losing the faith in me. Oh, never. And I was so excited

because I think we connected on Instagram. Is that how it happened? I can't remember. I knew it was social media, but I guess it would have to be. Twitter's, I've been banned for a year. So anyway, go on. Wow. Wow. Yeah, that's, um, that yeah, we met on Instagram and I was just telling you how yeah Mike and I listened to the book

on a 13 hour well it ended up being like 20 hour drive to Atlanta and back and then I read it

and then my whole family read it and so yeah we know your book pretty well that's really lovely

that really warms my heart thank you so it's a grim set of topics as an author, you always like it when people actually want to read what you write. So thank you.

We have three appendix sections and an afterward.

The afterward, of course, is inevitably going to be out of date because books take time to publish.

But there's still, it's such a moving story, not as in like moving train story,

this Vince McMahon story that my afterward is a little out of date.
