they're progressive on some things. I think it's an important question and there's some debate about what exactly it is and the truth is it's looked different depending on which era of American history you're talking about.

For instance, like modern day, religious day activists often hearken back to these historical examples

of the abolitionist movement or the early labor movement or the Civil Rights Movement
