which we talked about just recently. Also, an art director on Blade Runner. He worked on the 50th

Academy Awards. It has done a ton of stuff. You would not believe this guy's CV. And we got

to talk to him a little bit more about some of the other work that he's done.

My educational background was in architecture and graphic design.

And I was in my late teens early 20s I was a musician I went on the road with a

rock and roll rhythm and blues band from 1962 to 1965 66 we had some minor success no one ever heard of to 1965, 66.

We had some minor success.

No one ever heard of us, but we were involved with some great people in New York,

like Gary Sherman, a producer who did up on the roof and under the boardwalk,

you know, really classic Brill Building hits on.

And he did the score for a film Alice's Restaurant.

I don't know if you know what that is, but it's a classic.

And he did some Broadway stuff, and he was like a top producer, and put the band together and uh you know uh we recorded

some things for a label called bell records which is now arista records and uh had some success

with that and then at some point uh i'd been on the road for four years and I decided
