0:10.3	So it gives a therapist basically this really cool model from nature that looks like it's just
0:16.2	a part of what it means to be human that allows you to take the serenity prayer and say, can I have the
0:22.2	serenity to accept the things I cannot change, which is really the deep temperament we have,
0:26.5	is probably not very changeable. Can I have the courage to change the things I can, which is the
0:31.6	adaptive strategy and its level of functioning? And I have the wisdom to know the difference

0:39.3	to change the fundamental temperament of your client, which I think ultimately is not going to be
0:45.1	productive. So it lets you change the level of adaptive strategy that determines the level of
0:51.7	personality. So it's either a prison or you move it toward a playground in the person's life.
