Summary

In this gripping episode of Verdict with Ted Cruz, go behind the scenes of a dramatic all-night session in the U.S. Senate. • How the budget reconciliation process allowed the bill to pass with just 50 votes, bypassing the filibuster.

  • A deep dive into the bill’s major provisions, including:
    • βœ… Extension of the 2017 Trump Tax Cuts – preventing a $4 trillion tax hike and introducing tax relief for tips, overtime, and seniors.
    • πŸ›‘οΈ $150B for Border Security – funding the wall, detention centers, and more agents.
    • πŸ’£ $150B for Military Modernization – including hypersonic weapons and missile defense.
    • πŸ‘Ά Trump Accounts – $1,000 investment accounts for every newborn to promote savings and financial literacy.
    • 🏫 School Choice Expansion – enhanced 529 plans and tax credits for scholarship donations.
    • πŸ“‘ Spectrum Auction – unlocking 800 MHz for private use to fuel 6G innovation and job growth.
