episodes telling stories from Watermark's history. Today, we're telling the story of Join the

journey. But this episode is about so much more than a history lesson about Join the Journey.

It's about the power of God's people, reading the Bible together, and how the truth of God's

word is unchanging and transformative. I cannot wait to hear the story. And with

me to tell this story, our three very special guests, Blake Holmes, Scott Miller, and Emma Daughter. Welcome,

y'all. Thanks for having us. Hey, friends. We're so glad to have you. Okay, I love for y'all to introduce

yourself to the listeners and then what your connection is to join the journey. Well, I feel like it's only fitting if I say thanks for joining.

My name's Emma Daughter, and I am the current host of the Join the Journey podcast.

I've been working with Join the Journey for about three years now, but been at Watermark for almost six.

Awesome. Thanks, Emma. Well, thanks for having me. I'm Scott Miller. I've been the director of technology here at Watermark since 2006, so 18 years and have a lot

of history with the journey and getting the lead parts of those teams over those years.

Technology is a big part of the Join the Journey story, so we'll get to it in a second,

but it's a little bit of an untold aspect of Join the Journey that I'm excited to hear more about. My name is Blake Holmes, and in the early days of Watermark, I was on the equipping team,

so I got to be a part of the journey from the very beginning.

So, from my understanding, Join the Journey is 20 years old-ish this year.

So it started in, from my understanding, it went out the very first entry, went out January 1, 2005.
