So, okay, China's social credit score.

Honestly, when we are talking about this, my friends, it's easier to talk about what China's social credit system is not rather than what it is.

Ever since the year 2014, when China first announced a six-year plan to build a system,

which would reward actions that build trust in society and penalize the opposite, this has

easily been one of the most misunderstood things about China in the West, though I will say

this right now. I definitely love the jokes. And I also know for a fact that every time I've

talked about anything with China, their history,

and the complex geopolitical issues that come from it,

instantly the comments in the comments section below are always going to be deluded with people

that say, hey, social credit score minus 1,000 points.

Because I talked about something that I probably shouldn't have.
