Summary
Today’s passage discusses the unfair trial and death of Jesus. Oftentimes, believers can fly past Jesus’s death to get to the resurrection, but today Ryan Garrahan & Emma Dotter unpack how Jesus’ complete innocence can challenge believers today. There is a daily need to repeat the gospel to yourself, and Ryan challenges us to take the time to reflect on the gravity of our sin, and the full gift of salvation given to us by Jesus.
Additional Scriptures used in today’s passage:
Revelation 21:8, “their portion will be in the lake that burns with fire and sulfur…”
1 John 2:2, “Jesus is the propitiation for our sin.”
John 11:35, “Jesus wept.”
