I know that my release schedule of episodes has been a little bit out of whack with the holiday with um, with Christmas. And so I just wanted to reach out in between Christmas and New Year. Um, I've got a new episodes coming, of course, in 2014,

but I wanted to reach out before then and just kind of touch base with you guys, the listeners, and kind of express some

of my thoughts about surf splendor and how it's evolved in the last few months since it

began.

I think we're 20 episodes deep right now.

And yeah, just kind of explain the evolution from my side i don't really take a whole lot of time

on the show to explain what's going on so much um kind of allude to it the fact that it's been

growing but um i don't know i feel like I wanted to take this opportunity

in, you know, this downtime between the holidays to just kind of keep you updated on, on my

thoughts about Surf Splendor. So I don't, I didn't write anything. So I'm just going to kind of

babble. But firstly, I've been involved in a

couple of different startups, different businesses from the ground level, and surf splendor,

you know, is essentially my project. I have close friends who I rely on to give me feedback and help where they

can. But the reality is none of us, myself nor my friends. We don't have any radio production

background and very little storytelling background even. I've done some writing, but you know,

no formal training in regards to storytelling, no podcast production training, no radio production

training. So this process really is a learning curve and I really just learn from listening to other podcasts that I like.
