Heat Rocks is hosted by my friend Oliver Wang who you've heard on this show before, both

as a panelist on our show Pop Rocket.

I used to come on and give a recommendation every once in a while.

And recently, for his book about Filipino American DJ culture called Legions of Boom,

he reviews records for NPR and the village voice and other outlets and he's also an

academic at Cal State Wombiage.

His co-host Morgan is a really brilliant music director.

She's the person who picks the music that goes into TV shows and movies like Selma,

and dear white people and queen sugar.

These two are really brilliant and amazing, in my opinion.
