I'm Chad Chennai, and I'm the writer and producer of the show.

It is an absolute honor and a joy to be able to create all the fun and wacky cooking content

that we make for all of you.

We make this show because we care so much about kids.

And we want you all to feel confident, inspired, and empowered inside the kitchen and outside

of it.

Which is why we wanted to drop a special episode just for our queer, non-binary, and trans

listeners today.

There is a lot going on in the country right now that might be difficult for queer and

trans youth and their families.

And we at Mystery Recipe wanted to take a moment to remind any queer, non-binary, or trans

kids listening that you are valid.

You are perfect just the way you are, and that you matter.

I'm Kay, and I know firsthand how important it is for queer people to feel safe and

free to say their truth out loud, to be allowed to be themselves and talk about their lives

or their family in school, and be proud of who they are.
