Hello everyone. Did you miss us?

We are now a little less than a week away from the start of season nine of Pints with Jack,

where among other things, we are going to be reading The Abolition of Man.

We're going to be kicking everything off next Tuesday, November 4th,

where you're going to hear a

recording that Andrew and I made at the Potoskey CS Lewis Festival, which is entitled, It's All Until

We Have Faces. After that, Matt is going to come on the next week, and we're going to talk

through what we're going to be doing this season. And then we're going to round off with

two episodes relating to Narnia. First of all, we're going to talk about Narnia in the 80s and the

wonderful BBC adaptation of The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe. And then after that,

I'm going to be interviewing Terry Linville and Carrie and Caroline Joseph about the joy of Narnia, teaching middle

schoolers and incorporating a little bit of Lewis to boot. Around that time, we are going to have

CS Lewis Reading Day, because that's on November 29th, and we will have our usual live streams

and discussions.

And this year we're going to be talking about Storgie,

about the Storgie relationships in Lewis's fiction and in his life,

which means we're going to be talking about his family in particular.

But I'm jumping on here today to advertise something else, namely our YouTube channel,

because throughout the seasons, I am doing video interviews on our YouTube channel called

Half Pint Episodes.

And I want to give you a little flavor of what I do there.
