Summary

Scripture tells us that God is like a potter and we are like the clay that he works with (Isaiah 64:8). He forms us with his hands, but he doesn’t forget about us once he is done! We are not a clay pot that sits on a shelf and is only touched when we remember to dust it every now and then. No, God continues to shape us.In fact, God loves us so much that he calls us his own! When we choose to follow Jesus, we are adopted into God’s family where there is both freedom and grace. Our father is so faithful to us that even when we don’t choose him or we run away from him, he waits for us and rejoices when we return. There is nothing we, or our kids, could ever do that would make our heavenly father love us less (or more!).So this week, let’s pray that our kids know God as the good father that he is.

back and be like, thank you, Lord.

I don't know if I did anything right.

0:57.1

I want them to have good friends. And all those things is just a ritual that we can come every week

1:01.8

and just put prayer as the start of our week. And I really think it will impact our school year.

1:06.1

I know it did for me last year when we did that. So what I'm talking about is a journal that

1:10.5

Christian parenting put together, who is the network that part of the mess is under. And the team there,

1:15.9

we worked together. We talked about what do we want the focus to be this year and what are the

1:20.1

topics going to be? And so we had some great conversations. And I'm so thrilled where we landed.

1:24.1

And then a team put together the entire journal and I just love it but it's called

1:27.7

a life of faith we're going to be talking about knowing loving following and sharing Jesus and

1:31.6

what that looks like for our kids there's so many layers of our Christian faith and it is a journey

1:36.8

and so first I just want to remind you out of the gate that p.s you and I are on a journey we are not

1:41.4

where we were 10 years ago we aren't where we were five years ago and we are on a journey. We are not where we were 10 years ago. We aren't where we were five years ago. And we are journeying through this life of faith.
