Why don't you just kick it off and tell us how did that come about?

Well, first of all, thanks for getting me on your radio show.

I really appreciate the interview.

But I, the I Like Guns song was probably about five, six years ago, I was sitting around the fire out bush, and I come up with this idea of, um, writing a song about guns, because at that time, um, guns were particularly unpopular in the media, and, um, I mean, you couldn't even really mention guns of the party or anything, because if you had anything to do with guns, people wouldown down you because of how much negative publicity they were getting. It wasn't really that people sort of particularly disliked them. It just so much media hype about it all that people were just sort of being anti-gun in a particularly big way. And so I sat down one day and said, you know what, I don't care you know what I'm saying. Guns are cool, and I like guns, so I'm just going to write a song about it. And it was just sort of how I felt at the time, and I still feel the same. But I just sat down and wrote it and sang it to a few guys, and people thought it was pretty cool. So I just sort of worked on it over the years, and so I came out with the end result that I've got. and then I came up with this idea of doing a film clip and put it all together and put it on YouTube.
