We reported at the time why, whatever you think of McCabe, and I pressed him on certain points,

why he has certainly appears correct that the way he was treated and removed was unlike any other senior FBI official in the history of the United States of America.

What's the worst thing Donald Trump has done as president, in your view?

In my view, the worst thing that this president does is the same behavior and actions that

he engages in almost every day.

And it is this unrelenting assault on the FBI, men and women in law enforcement and intelligence

professionals.

I think that that's constant attack, that denigration has a corrosive impact on those institutions, those institutions that we rely upon

to protect our democracy, and the people working within them. I think it makes their job harder
