Hey, everyone listening to the podcast for our special bonus episode this weekend. We have my entire discussion with Fiddy Senn, who made his maiden voyage on the beat, which is something that excited me a lot as a long-time fan of his. And what you're about to hear is more than just what we aired on television. You'll have that part of the interview, but a lot of what didn't make air our whole wide discussion

gun violence and hip hop we talk about when the trump campaign asked him to take

uh... as well as a whole lot more at the end of the interview we then play a little bit of what we talked about when we walk around the studio and some other music stuff. So 50 Cent is, of course, known as an entrepreneur, as a rapper. But this was an interesting discussion to go in a lot of different angles. So I hope you'll give it a listen. I hope you enjoy it. And as always, thanks for listening to our podcast extras here from The Beat with Ari Melper.

50 Cent. So excited to have you here.

1:02.3

I'm happy to be, Ari. You know business, you know politics, you know power. And you know

1:07.9

Donald Trump a little bit. You even had him on your G-Unit radio show in 2005. Let's look at that. All right, 50. We got Donald Trump here. I hear you on there with the big man. How you doing? Oh, man, I'm fine. Well, you know, I have some kids and myself included, but I have kids. They think you are the best, the absolute best. Wow. That's pretty cool, I'll tell you. My little daughter, Ivanka, and my son, Eric, these people, they just love your, they love your music. Wow. And I'm going to keep making it. Well, you're going to keep making it. You better keep making it. A lot of laughs back then. What's changed?

1:46.0

Wow.

1:47.0

I mean, a lot's changed.

1:48.0

You know, I didn't know that he shared the views that he kind of showed people over the period that he's been the president.

1:55.0

I did learn from his behaviors that he'll personalize things.

2:01.6

Personalize it.

2:02.6

He will take it personal when you say things.

2:05.6

So, you know, I don't necessarily need the President of America as my enemy at the present moment.

2:11.6

So that's kind of a strategic choice.

2:13.6

I mean, I'm thinking about that book I mentioned by Robert Green, and he describes you in it. He says 50 cents lack of fear is displayed by his attitude and his actions. He lived through too many dangerous encounters to be remotely phased by anything in the corporate world. And he wrote that you'd walk away and not care. And I want to ask you about that, because that really overlaps with some of your analysis

2:35.3

about Donald Trump being an accidental president and not fearing anything when he was a candidate.

2:40.5

Take a look. His presidency is accident. If you were a president by accident, you might do some of the things Donald Trump is doing.

2:52.6

I think he was doing that to build his profile for a bigger deal on television than everything
