I don’t know about you all, but I’m still unpacking all the feels from Inside Out 2, from the realistic depiction of anxiety attacks to seeing new emotions show up as main character Riley steps into her teenage years. Joining me today to explore some of the major themes featured in the movie is our Therapist Support Specialist and head of the TBG Thrive Tribe, Licensed Associate Professional Counselor, Gorgeous West. And, as a special treat, my two sons also joined me to offer their perspectives on the film as well.
We discussed the scenes that stuck with us the most from the film, how therapists can reference the film to break down tough emotional concepts with clients, plus analyze the film’s most central character, Anxiety.
