How'd you get here?

Well, I'll start by saying I grew up in a 60 Minutes household.

So already I've sort of bucked a lot of the tradition of people my age.

My parents were huge political junkies and watched a lot, a lot of cable news.

And I remember in middle and high school,

watching these segments on Sunday nights and thinking, I would actually really love to do this.

I'd love to write about these things. And so that was sort of the path that I started myself on.
