Good morning. It is Whole 30, day one, Monday, May 15th, and I'm excited to get started.

The whole kind of reason for us doing this Whole 30 is because in the last couple of weeks I've developed just some GI stuff that kind of

sends me running to the bathroom every time I eat just about anything and I've also had to fight off a couple of migraines which I'd never had migraines before I had miles and so I haven't really had them in my life long enough to know what causes them but I definitely

know that you know I get them sort of in little clusters and it makes me think that it has something to do with either my hormones and or my diet and so between those two things and then also having counted macros on and off for so long

And during my kind of off times having felt like I was sort of in a free-for-all

I mean it I feel like I was sort of in a free for all. I mean it I feel like I've almost lost track of how to just intuitively feed myself and feed myself good foods and so

and all of those signs pointed to me wanting to do a whole 30 and then our friend Jess has also been having some similar issues with her gut and so the

two of us were like right we're we're going to do a whole 30.

And then of course Joy, um,

decided that she wanted to support us.

And you know, the three of us have this ongoing text chain that we always sort of reference and joy wanted to be

a part of the fun I guess so she's joining us as well and just kind of to support us and

yeah so I'm excited I had scrambled eggs

this morning for breakfast that were cooked in coconut oil and I have some stir-fried veggies with chicken thighs for lunch and I think we're going to have salmon for dinner.

But the news from my day so far is that I had all night, I had a whole 30 stress dreams about like all of a sudden in my dream I would realize that I was eating a

croissant and I was like oh my god what the heck I'm supposed to be on the whole

30 like why did I do this and then I'd be like okay that's it like it's fine it's the

first day I can just like start I can restart tomorrow or I can just restart right now and it'll be like

you know my first half day a whole 30 and then like the next thing I knew I was eating a muffin

and also in my dream, my brother was doing the whole 30 with us.

And he like saw me eating a muffin and got really, really mad
