I hope you were able to make the most of the holiday, safely, of course, and that your Christmas season is off to a great start.

You know, what we normally think of as the Christmas season, the day after Thanksgiving,

up to and including Christmas Day, can vary quite a bit in length.

It really depends on what date Thanksgiving falls on.

Well, this year it was on the 26th, so that means we get just 29 days this year.

That's relatively short compared to other years, all of which

is to say, make sure you get your shopping done early, and make every day count. By the time this

episode reaches you, my baby boy Dashel will be just about three and a half weeks old. I'm making

every day count with him, even though he doesn't even know what Christmas is yet,

I've already read him plenty of Christmas stories and spent many hours snuggled up by the Christmas

tree. Speaking of making everyday count, just a few days ago, I caught up with a very special

member of the Christmas past family, and you're about to sit in on the fun. I don't want to set it up too much because

it's all pretty self-explanatory. So before we jump into things, let me just remind you that
