Welcome back to Royley obsessed. We're bringing you a special bonus episode this morning because of course we saw all of the royal family

including Kate at Trooping the Color this weekend.

We are so excited to chat about it.

Also, this is kind of perfect timing because I'm off the rest of the week on vacation

and then we'll be back next week to cover the Royal Ascot. of the more. Doesn't it feel like we're like back with royal schedule business as usual?

Like it's just I think this weekend really put such a spring and everyone's step and was such a surprise on Friday to get that news that Kate would be at Trooping, especially after our kind of like, will she, won't she discussion last week.

I know in the very soon in her letter to the Irish guards, I thought about that when she announced this.

So we got the news for anyone who missed it. On Friday, it was 6 p.m. London time. She posted a new photo taken by Matt Porteous on the grounds of Windsor underneath that gorgeous tree. I'm just still I'm staring at the

photo right now that all the shades of green in the background the pond behind her

Kate's looking up toward the light she's got light shining on her features.

I was even googling after seeing the image, Roberta, because we've had so many significant

milestone moments, not that this counts necessarily like a birthday, but remember Charles under the tree and the way the light hit his face when he turned 70 I think it was his 70th birthday portrait just so such a great backdrop for moments like these and we love their connection to the environment always.

Yeah and this update was really positive. She said she'd been blown away by all the kind messages of support and

encouragement. She's making good progress, but she adds, as

anyone going through chemotherapy will know there are good days and there are bad days.

And on those bad days you feel weak, tired, and you have to give in to your body resting.

She says on the good days though when you feel stronger you want to make the most of

feeling well, she continues that her treatment is ongoing. She will be in treatment for a few more months and on the days

that she feels well enough it's a joy to engage with school life, spend personal
