how you doing? I would say mixed is how I'm doing this. There's a lot of stuff.

Yeah. What a day. So there's been too much information for me to process today. I've been,

I've been working. I've been in meetings today. I woke up to an announcement this morning.

And then I've been sort of slowly reading more content between meetings and things.

I mean, we thought that we'd split our podcast into two because there's just too much to cover off

in one. And frankly, I'm hoping this first conversation will help me process things better.

Process the reality that we're

faced with about this European something league. I'm reticent to call it super because I think

it's anything but. We've got some special guests to help us navigate this, but I want to start

by asking Nathan, Nathan, what was your initial reaction when you read the announcement

that Spurs put out? How did it make you feel? We knew that it was coming in terms of on the

day, because it was being talked about throughout the day, there were the rumours coming forth.

But we also sort of knew that it was coming for a long time. This is obviously been building up,

and it's also something that we've sort of edged towards incrementally

with revision after revision after revision.

So there's a degree to which I'm a little numb to it,

but it's still disgusting, really, is what it is.

It's just, it's not football.

It's not meritocratic.

And I think that what makes football, what makes sports, sport,
