When a company is ready to go, I give them a reminder of why they're in this competition.

We pick them for a reason, we pick them out of thousands of applications.

It is harder to get into start a battlefield than it is to get into Harvard. So to be able to remind them that it's not just, hey, this is a stressful thing to be pitching on stage or oh my God here's a competition and I need to win

they've already won by being selected. When they come off stage it is just

celebration it does not even matter how the pitch went.

You know, I'm backstage watching every single pitch, every single Q&A segment,

and when they come off stage, it is a huge accomplishment.

To put yourself and your company on a stage of this

magnitude is a big deal and the fact that these founders have done it I mean I get nervous going on stage to announce who the runner up and the
