Earlier this week, I had the great pleasure of interviewing Kevin Fredericks. You were just

like, who? Kevin on stage. Kevin Frederick is his government name. And if you're still like,

who? Because you're not chronically online? Kevin Frederick, it feels so weird calling him that. Oh my God.

Keb on stage is an NAACP Image Award winning comedian, the founder of Kev on State Studios. As of last week,

he had two New York Times bestsellers and a superstar on social media, to put it mildly.

This is his official bio that is at the back of his book. I would have put on there something

about Christian comedian consistently on tour. I would have said something about Melissa, the wife. I would have put on there something about Christian comedian consistently on tour.

I am way too invested in this man's life.

I have actually met him and Melissa once.

We'll talk about that in the interview. But I interviewed

him and it's always been in my head like, oh, I should do something with Kevin Melissa. Because last

week he did something that I don't see people do very often, especially at his level of success.

He put up this video and it was about his upcoming book and he was just very transparent.

And he was like, you know, my first book did really well.

This one just talked to my publisher and it's not on track to have the same success.

He was being very transparent about his missteps and his business.
