Singer-songwriter Ray is that the kind of year other artists can only dream of.

After leaving her label and

going independent, she has won six Brit Awards, I can only describe it as a miracle. And is

the first woman to have won songwriter of the year. Her debut studio album, My 21st Century

Blues, was a critical and commercial hit and it cemented her as one of the top artists in

the game right now. BBC 100 women spoke to her

about the pressures of social media, being a woman in the industry and going independent.
