talk to me about. And this idea of the watchful eye and surveillance, there is this chilling effect.

It's a phenomenon that shows how awareness of being watched can deter people from exercising

their rights, to read, to think, to communicate freely, to just do their thing.

And actually, there have been different studies about this.

And so it is a very powerful tool used by cults manipulators and controlling systems.

Having a leader watch over you, being convinced that a higher power is watching over you,

also having the people in the group,

keeping each other in check and watching over them.

And so you just can't get away from this watchful eye or so it feels.

And it is actually a reality in a lot of groups.
