Welcome to a special bonus episode of Key Battles of American History.

This is your host, James, as always.

And what I'm about to present to you is very different from anything I've ever put on this feed before. By now, I think you probably know that key battles of American history is part of a relatively new podcast network called the Parthenon podcast network.

And the other members of the network are History Unplugged by Scott Rank,

History of the Papacy, and Beyond the Big Screen by Steve Guerra, and the newest member

of This American President by Richard Lim.

I recently sat down with Scott and Steve and Richard, virtually, of course, and we had a

very interesting discussion and that was if you could go back in time and eliminate one person

from history, who would you eliminate? I think we said

kill in the podcast, but don't think of us going back and brutally murdering someone. It's more

like we go back and perhaps snap our fingers and the person just vanishes. And there was one

stipulation and that was that the person could not be Adolf Hitler, because he's just too obvious.

Everybody picks Hitler.

So we decided to try to be a little more creative and come up with somebody different from Hitler that we would want to eliminate and then explain why.

And then we had a discussion about each person that the four of us presented.
