Okay. Hosted by Sean Worswick. I know it's been a while since our last episode, so let me explain what's been going on.

For those of you who don't know my mom

has Parkinson's disease back in May she fell down and she's been in and out of the

hospital ever since in early September she went in and that's when I had to put the

show on hiatus basically it was just too much to do the show, to go back and forth to the hospital,

work on grad school, and my full-time job, and everything else.

Now, she was back, and she was doing well until late October when she fell down again,

the weekend before Halloween, and she broke her hip.

She's now on the road to recovery again,

and hopefully she will be back home soon. But like I said, that's just all this stuff came together.

It was a perfect storm of bad stuff, and I just had to, something had to give. So that's where I've

been. Now, going forward, the normal episodes will be back in January, as will

a couple of bonuses. So hopefully in time for the 170th anniversary of the Gold Rush of 1849,

I want to do a little mini-series on the California Gold Rush. I'm still hoping to get that out in

late January. Perhaps five episodes, but the exact number is still up in the air.

on the Tet Offensive during the Vietnam War. January 30th is the 50th anniversary of Tet,
