I've done Sarah Histan's mine and mountain training for years, ski babes in the winter and summer strong in the summer, for really functional

strength that supports backcountry trips and outdoor adventures. One time on an extremely remote

packrafting trip in Gates of the Arctic, Brooks Range, we decided to do a 20-mile side hike from

our camp. At the farthest point from camp, about 10 miles up a remote tributary to the river

we are packrafting, I stepped on a big round boulder that rolled over and I fell really hard

onto my back in the boulder field. I 100% credit the strength, uneven ground training,

and learning to fall work I did with Mine and Mountain for making me fall

in the best way possible and saving me from what could have been a disastrous injury.

I had surface bruises but no broken bones and was able to hike out and continue our trip,

packrafting and hiking another hundred miles.

I can't recommend Mine and Mountain enough for anyone preparing for wilderness trips or weekend
