Dr. Jeffers, I have heard that the seven-year tribulation does not have to immediately follow the rapture of the church. Does the Bible allow for

this possibility? It's possible but not probable. First of all, let's establish what is the rapture?

It is the snatching away of the church. First Thessalonians

four, for the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout with the voice of the

archangel and the trumpet of God and the dead in Christ will rise first and then we who are

alive and remain shall be caught up to meet the Lord

in the air and thus we shall always be with the Lord. People say, well, that term rapture isn't

in the Bible. Yes, it is. It's right there. Snatched away. That's the word rapturo in Latin,
