Christian agency is a topic that most modern Christians have probably never heard expounded on at all, much less from a pulpit.

In an age of emasculated pastors and churches, cowardice and abdication are paraded as faux virtues,

while competence and righteous aggression are condemned as toxic masculinity.

Denouncing the willingness to use deadly force is easy and might feel virtuous as you sit in safety and comfort.

But what happens when there's a bump in the night?

When that safety and comfort is suddenly shattered,

who do you wish was there by your side? The man who rejects his God-given responsibilities

in order to embrace the Longhouse, or the man who is willing and able to bring force to bear

against threats to his people. Today on the Hardman podcast, we are joined by Marty Combs,

a friend of ours and a recent viral sensation who killed a bear after it charged him in his kitchen in the middle of the night.
