I am Andy Staples.

And we are going to start with my Kuyang Ross, who's going to give us a lot of Louisiana terms that you may or may not know.

Because for those who don't know, before Ross became a crack, amazing national reporter, he covered LSU.

And nobody understands the ins and outs of this program better than Ross.

And so, Ross, I'm going to turn the floor over to you to help explain what has happened since we recorded the show this morning.

And based on everybody we talked to, we thought, okay, LSU is going to make some staff changes potentially.

They're probably moving on from Brian Kelly at some point, but not today, to he's out by 8 p.m. Central.

Yeah, it's been a wild day.

Yeah, to take you to the course of it, again, you kind of summed it up there and he's late last night it was pretty clear that um somebody was going to be fired sunday or monday because they have a bye week so it's pretty clear saturday late saturday night that somebody was going to get fired i think the thought was that it would just be maybe a staff member or two.

And certainly the fingers sort of pointed at the offensive coordinator or the play caller,

I should say, because they have officially co-offensive coordinators, but Joe Sloan.

And but throughout Sunday, you know, at 9 a.m., if it was a couple of staff fires by noon, Sunday, it was meetings are now discussing the future of the head football coach.

And then 3 o'clock, it became evident to me that the head football coach was going to be fired.

It wasn't until four hours later, I think after a meeting at the Louisiana governor's mansion, because of course, the governor is involved, that the decision was made by Scott Woodward, the athletic director, and other people,
