Hey everyone and welcome back to Big Mad True Crime, where we get Big Mad over True Crime, at least we

usually do. This is, again, a bonus Q&A episode. So that means I'm reading the questions that you

guys asked in the Facebook group. So with no further ado, we all know that small talk sucks.

So the first question is from Michelle and she says, I remember you talking about Jessa going

through some bullying. My son is having some similar issues. He's nine. He's a sweetest soul and I feel

like he's struggling with school and everything. We've talked to him so much, but I don't want to

break his spirit, any advice. Okay. So first things first.

Obviously, I'm not an expert on parenting.

I do have three children, but I'm not perfect, but I will give my opinion.

When it comes to our kids, we try and be as realistic as possible.

We obviously don't want to freak our kids out ever, but we also want them to have realistic

expectations of people in the world. So we try to be really honest with our kids. And when

my daughter was dealing with bullying last year, we sat her down and we had talks about, you know,

sometimes people disappoint you and it really,

really fucking sucks. It hurts your feelings and it should hurt your feelings. It hurts your feelings

because you would never treat anybody else the way that that person is treating you. And that says

so many great things about you. And it says a lot about the other

person as well. And so we talked about how hurt people hurt people, not because it's any kind of

excuse, but to kind of give some insight onto maybe why somebody's acting the way that they are.

Think about all the reasons, honey, why you would never treat

anybody the way that you're being treated right now. And then imagine why someone else might.
