Welcome to the Storytellers Live podcast bonus episode. We are so excited because today is the launch of Discover Your Story. You've heard us talk about it for months and months and some of you have even already gone through it this summer. And today we are just going to spend some time talking about how it got started, how God gave us the

original vision for Discover Your Story, what it's about. And so that's what today is. That's right,

Robin. We were excited a few weeks ago to be able to sit down. It was you, myself, Lindy, and Sarah Beth,

who leads one of our teams here in Birmingham. She was able to take a group through

the Bible study this past summer, and she just gives such insight of how the Bible study spoke

to the women that were able to go through it. So I hope that this gives you a little bit more

information about what the Bible study is all about. Yes, so we hope you enjoy our conversation.

From the beginning of storytellers, we've had women share their stories,

and then people will leave our gatherings and go talk about them at lunch.

They'll, you know, meet with their friends and talk about these stories.

But regularly, for three plus years, we have had women say, what next? next you know what do we do with these stories we

want to do something more with them and as we really didn't have an answer it's a team it was like well

I don't know we're giving you the stories and we know that God's speaking to you through them but that

was really as far as it went and so about a year and a half in,

Katie shared her story with us.

And she and Lindy were already friends.

And so we knew that Katie had written Bible studies

and led Bible studies in the past.

And so after she shared her story,

we just were so excited about Katie on a hole.

We loved her. And so it was not long

after that Lindy you may even want to speak into this of having the idea of Katie write a Bible study
