I'm Cody Warsham, Digital Media Reporter for LSU Athletics. Coming to you today with what I would call a bonus episode

of the podcast. It's a little bit different. I was walking around football ops the other day

and bumped into Garrett Brumfield. Former Tiger finished up his career last year. He's in Baton Rouge

right now training, waiting for his time, waiting for a spot, competing for a spot with an NFL team. And when I bumped into Bruiser, I said, hey, I got to have you on the podcast. Because for those of you who know Bruiser, for those of you who read the story that I wrote on Bruiser last year, which I'll link in the description of this episode. You know he's one of the best guys to talk to about anything, about football,

about life, about movies, about music, comedy, anything. Bruiser is as well-versed as they come.

So me and Bruiser sat down on Thursday. I'm recording this Thursday afternoon. We sat down

Thursday morning for this episode,

and we do talk LSU football. We do talk Florida. We talk about Joe Burrow and Lloyd Cushenberry

in this new offense. And we get Garrett's perspective on what it's like to be inside of this

LSU Florida rivalry. But we also veer off topic a good bid and go into a number of things, because when you talk to Garrett, that's just where the conversation goes. So for those of you who are looking for the, you know, the more hard football, strict exes and O's, that kind of stuff, there's a little bit of that in here, but there's also some lighthearted stuff and I mixed in some audio to kind to add to the effect of it. What I'm saying is it's a little bit more of a laidback episode. So go into it with that mindset if you would, and I think you'll enjoy it.
