Summary

As a conclusion to this season of Catholic Classics and to the life of St. Thérèse, Fr. Michael-Joseph provides an introduction to the epilogue of Story of a Soul. His introduction is followed by the reading of the epilogue. In the epilogue, we are given an account of the final months of St. Thérèse’s life.

and its significance in setting up the scene and rounding out the text.

This epilogue is very important.

It's the culmination of St. Terres's life similar to the

last chapters of the gospel which show forth the passion of Christ being the

culmination of his life. The account of St. Torres's passion and death confirm everything that she lived and taught.

We get a glimpse of the pains she suffered and yet the patience with which she bore it

and the way she could be gentle, humorous, and loving through it all.

You also get the premonition of St. Terres' mission after her death, the way that she will truly
