Hi everyone this is Father Michael Joseph Paris with a bonus episode of

season 3 where you'll listen to the epilogue of Story of a Soul. Before we dive in, I just wanted to share a few notes about this section

and its significance in setting up the scene and rounding out the text.

This epilogue is very important.

It's the culmination of St. Terres's life similar to the

last chapters of the gospel which show forth the passion of Christ being the

culmination of his life. The account of St. Torres's passion and death confirm everything that she lived and taught.

We get a glimpse of the pains she suffered and yet the patience with which she bore it

and the way she could be gentle, humorous, and loving through it all.

You also get the premonition of St. Terres' mission after her death, the way that she will truly

come down to us and bring incredible graces into people's lives.

We'll see in the epilogue the way that Torres perse perse perse

in her desire to die of love, and how in the end her desire was totally fulfilled.

St. Terres's last words are witness to this pure love of God.

The way she died shows it wasn't so much her illness that finally broke her,

but the vehemence of her love which severed the last thread that kept her in this world.

Epilogue. The concluding words of the manuscript are, through confidence and love. Here the pencil which has replaced the clumsy pen

falls from Terrace's hands. The manuscript shows evidence of wavy lines and

illustrates the strong will of Terez who cannot finish her work.

She gives up and still has three months to leave.

While reading over these pages that are filled with wisdom and peace, the reader would find it hard to believe that Terez has been seriously ill for several weeks.

There are scarcely any allusions to the medical care she was receiving.
