Today, we are in the studio, starting the Book of Ephesians, and I am here with Mr. Garrett Weichael.

Glad to be here, Emma.

The smartest guy in the room right now by God's grace.

And I would like to know what do we need to know about Ephesians?

Yeah, so the book of Ephesians is one of the most beautiful books in the New Testament.

It truly is a great read, and it's really simply broken up. And so you were in the Watermark

Institute. Yes, I was. You were. And so I'm going to ask you, what do you need to know?

What is the key word for the book of Ephesians? Oh, easy. Riches. Why? Well, in it, the outline,

actually, in chapters 1 through 3, we uh wealth in christ in chapters four through six

our walk with christ and so the in the first half of the book we see the uh gifts that god bestows upon

or gives to those who are in him what what a fortune that is to do life in christ and then the second half would be the outworking of that.

How do we live in light of these gifts that we've received?

Which is actually a model that Paul uses all the time in his letters.

And so in particularly Romans, Colossians, Philippians, like there's always this, when he's speaking more theologically, you're speaking to a church that he's not trying to correct

to rebuke at the time, he's usually following a pattern of belief followed by behavior.

And I think in our own lives, that works out the same way.

And so you do not start behaving well within the gospel within anything that would truly

please God until you actually believe, until you operate out of faith in the work of Christ and his death, burial,
