And this is an episode swap. A couple of months ago,

I reached out to Sarah Buino, who has a really cool podcast called Conversations with a Wounded

Healer. And we decided to do a podcast episode swap. So what this is, is I chose a favorite episode of hers from her feed, and she chose a favorite

episode of Back from the Abyss, and we're going to each run these.

So the episode I chose is one where Sarah talks to Hillary McBride.

And Hillary McBride is something else.

She has two podcasts that she runs.

Well, she's part of the liturgists, which I'm guessing some of our fans love the liturgists.

I really like that podcast.

And then she has another therapy podcast that she does.

And I picked this interview because I think Sarah does a great job of highlighting Hillary's story of a wounded healer,

and Hillary is a brilliant and eloquent and amazing healer,

and I think you all are going to be really amazed to hear her description of how she walked her pain, her coals, and brought that wisdom and grace

and kindness into her practice. And yeah, after I listened to this episode on Sarah's feed,

right away, it had to be, I'm back from the abyss. And I'm hoping I've been in some contact

with Hillary McBride. And as you know,

Chris and I like to record these in person. And so I'm trying to get a time when Hillary and I can sit down in the same room.

But given that we're in a pandemic state, that's probably going to be a while. But hoping later in 2020 that Hillary and I can sit down and talk face to face. So I really hope you enjoy this episode of conversations with
