in interesting ways, are thinking about the different ways love can be a pathway to black liberation.

This week I caught up with Grammy Award winning R&B Soul singer Anthony Hamilton, who is on tour as we speak with Joe and Maxwell.

This is a big deal because Anthony had COVID twice.

The first time he caught it, he had to be admitted into the hospital. It was pretty bad.

So he's feeling extra thankful for the ability to safely be back in his element.

And your voice is still so strong it's still beautiful.

I was in there like.

You know, just try to try that thing out. I got on that my lungs were good I didn't have

pneumonia this last time the last time my first time I did but yeah it was good I went out

there and the Lord was like yes.

Last month Anthony won an N-W-A-C-P Image Award for Best Male Artist, so he's riding pretty high.

And did you know Anthony is a cook?

Like not just a little dab here and there.

He wrote a whole book about his music with his favorite recipes.

It's called Cornbread, Fish, and collagreens.
