And during the campaign for governor, he would come in and he he said Bill Lee's going to win at that point

You'd never served in elective office before you were third or fourth in the poll

He was one of seven people who thought that. That's right.

And I said, well, I mean, doesn't look like it.

It looks like it's going to be so and so or so and so.

And he just said, no, Bill Lee's going to win people like him.

And he kept saying that the entire way through and I realized he

actually had a more sophisticated polling apparatus than just about anybody else

which was listening to the people as they were coming through the

coming through the checkout and saying they liked you and

they also liked the way that you were running in a way that was unique.
