Hey you guys, I'm Justin Gerhardt, founder and storytelling partner of Hayes Fire Studios.

I'm Jayo Gerhardt. I am a storytelling partner at Hayesfire Studios as well.

And we wanted to take a second. This is going out through the Holy Ghost Stories feed as a sort of bonus episode.

And then we're going to publish this video so that you can see us. We can't see you. We wish we could.

But we wanted to just have a conversation here on this Giving Tuesday about story and meeting God. Because these are things that are very near and dear to our hearts

and that intersect with the work that we're about at Hayes Fire Studios. Yeah, and I think on a day

like today, like I don't want to take anything away from any other organizations and things that people are doing

because there's so much amazing work out there and everybody needs to be supported, loved,

and whatever.

But I'm kind of in the mood to fight for story today.

You know, I'm just feeling like maybe the church has ignored it for a little too long,

not giving it the kind of attention. It deserves the kind of attention that Yahweh gives it.

And so I just want to make a case for that today. But it'll look nothing like making a case

because us story people, we don't make arguments.

Right?

It all started in 1974.
