Hey folks, Randy Nubord here with another episode of Loo Polds Hunt Talk Radio.

It is one of my, it's my second favorite time of year. Obviously, hunting season is my favorite

0:13.2

time of year, but this time of year is what I call application season. And going forward,

0:20.4

what we want to do on this podcast over the next three to four months, we're going to be throwing

0:27.6

in some episodes along the way, the focus on how you can hunt elk every year. I don't care where

0:36.2

you live. There is some manner, some state, some way that even on a pretty modest budget,

0:44.0

you should be hunting elk every year. And we're going to talk about how we do that. We're going to

0:49.9

talk about both the long term strategy, the mid term strategy and a short term strategy of how

0:56.4

we do it. We're going to go to every state that has elk hunting that is what I'll call a destination

1:03.5

state. Those will be, I'm going to start from the south, Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, Utah, Colorado,

1:10.8

Wyoming, Idaho, and Montana. We're going to cover every one of those. In past years, we talked about

1:17.8

how you can do it, you know, in some degree. What we're going to do this year is go forward

1:26.2

with the premise that everyone who's listening probably wants to hunt elk. And even if you have elk

1:34.4

hunting in your own state, I hope that when we're done with this series of podcasts throughout

1:40.2

the spring and the winter, that even those of you in the states where you can hunt at home with

1:46.2

an over the countertag, you realize how many options still exist for you outside of your state's

1:52.9

boundaries. I'm one of those lucky people I get to hunt in so many places and I've been applying

2:00.4

to non-resident, as a non-resident in all these other states for decades, not years decades.

2:08.9

And about four years ago, this system in New Yorkers talk about it. This group came out and

2:14.2

nowhere for me, anyhow, it's called GoHunt.com. And it's become my tool of everything that I do

2:22.5

related to this. And I thought today, this is just a quick bonus podcast. This is not one of our

2:29.6

regular podcasts. It's a bit of a kind of, here's where we're going with future podcasts, which I
