Summary
Three masked men broke into the home of a man named Michael and demanded a million dollars they believed Michael had. They threw Michael and his roommate Mary Barnes into the back of a van and drove out into the desert where they were convinced Michael had buried this money. But when they didn't get what they wanted, these psychotic men tortured Michael and left the two of them for dead. Once police got involved, the case took so many twists and turns that this story should really be turned into a Netflix series.
