So last week, wow, I really had a roller coaster of a week last week.

Have you heard anyone use that expression before?

Just like the shape of a roller coaster, where there's high points and low points. If we describe

something as being like a roller coaster it means that there are a lot of ups and

downs and many many changes. So last week there were good things and bad things that

happened. On Monday the week got off to a bit of a rough start. Things kind of started on a scary note because of a typhoon named

Hina Nao that was making quick progress towards the Korean peninsula where I live. For those of you who don't know I'm Canadian but I do live in South Korea right now.

So there were a lot of people who were worried about the strength of the typhoon.

The weather report said that it was going to be a strong one and people were nervous about
