This week I had a chance to chat with writer Brian Raftry.

Brian Raftry is written for Wired, GQ, New York, The Ringer, Rolling Stone and Entertainment

Weekly and he's just written a new book called Best Movie Year Ever, How 1999 Pull Up

The Big Screen.

It's a super fun and informative read that tells the stories of many of your favorite films

from 1999.

I spoke with Brian about how we went about researching the book, why this year held so much importance

for him and then later on we each counted down our top five films of 1999.

It was a fun conversation and I think anyone who's a listener to this podcast will enjoy

both the conversation and Brian's book.
