1:16.6 | But let's move on and talk about our first topic, Kim Renfrow, which is time jumps. Now so far, Kim, I have objected fairly, fairly strenuously to the time jumps. |
1:30.4 | I don't think I've been a dick about it, but I've said a couple times that I don't like them. And and I let that slide. |
1:39.2 | And you let that slide. Well, the line must be drawn here. No more. Well, you let it slide, right? |
1:44.6 | You are. I think it's just worth, it's worth exploring a little bit beyond because it is tough. I've like, there's always so much ground cover in the main episodes. |
1:53.6 | But yeah, so like I didn't want to to to to segue us to hard mid episode, just why I let it fly. |
2:01.8 | But like feel free to segue hard. The segue as hard as you want during the episode. Okay. Noted. Future Segways are coming. |
2:10.3 | But I don't like I really I really like the structure of these episodes. And it hadn't occurred to me when I was watching them, you know, in the little isolation of my press reviews that like that people would not like the time jumps. |
2:26.2 | I thought it was like a clever a clever structure choice, given the material that they're working off of. |
2:31.7 | And especially I know like I couldn't really say it before, but I was like, I it feels important that we started out with them as like younger teenagers. |
2:42.9 | And then have like gotten to the point that they're now older teenagers speaking specifically about like Rainier and Allison exploring their sexuality or having terrible sexual experiences, all of like the nuance in there. |
2:55.8 | And that like that we had to that we had to do it that way, just kind of makes sense to me. |
3:03.1 | And it didn't occur to me that people would be like, oh, I'm missing character development. |
3:07.2 | Because to me, I'm like, we're getting so much more character development than there is in fire and blood, right? |
